My take on David Firth’s “Salad Fingers”

I have mixed feelings about this. One of the creepier movies I’ve seen in a long time but I felt the ending was unsatisfying. Another horror movie with a silly twist ending. There was a lot of good here but ultimately it is just okay. The acting is amazing and top notch cast starring Toni […]
I liked this zombie film a lot. More than any of the genre I’ve seen, it really addressed the problem of isolation. I love films like this that are mostly quiet and all about a single characters internal journey. The way the zombies were portrayed was also pretty unique, if not completely original. How many […]
Such a realistic and naturalistic portrait of what it is do be a young teenager in our modern world with social media. The performances were so natural and true to life it almost felt like a documentary. A very unique and worthy film. 5 out of 5 stars.

It was pretty good. The main character started out pretty annoying but ultimately had a fairly satisfying transformation and redemption. It’s worth checking out. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
just watched “Bird Box”. I liked it. It was pretty good and worth a watch. It’s been compared to a lot of other suspenseful horror films but I disagree with this and think most horror films of a man versus nature plot could be compared. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.
A beautiful film and a masterfully crafted story. This is a classic. I give it a 5 out of 5 stars.
Really good comedy movie starring Kristen Bell and Kelsey Grammer. I highly recommend checking it out. It’s hilarious and has a lot of heart for a comedy. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
It started out as a very spooky but quickly turned dumb. It had some good jump scares and a creepy vibe happening and then they made it stupid and ruined the supernatural elements into some “people under the stairs” BS. A stupid twist ending just to have a twist. I hate when filmmakers do that. […]
Starring Jason Segel and Rooney Mara. I love slow atmospheric films like this. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
The 1958 film, starring Frank Sinatra, Tony Curtis, and Natalie Wood. It was a great WWII love triangle story. I give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars.
It was another beautiful masterpiece of an animated film. Definitely check it out! It’s exceedingly charming in every way. I give it a 5 out of 5 stars.
Starring Natalie Portman. This movie was utter pretentious hogwash. I give it 1 out of 5 stars.
I just watched it again. It is a great movie; still holds up. It really messes with my mind. I give it a 5 out of 5.
A film starring Forest Whitaker and Theo James. Interesting apocalypse movie in that it dealt with the dynamic of a man and his father-in-law. I felt the performances where very strong for the leads of film and overall I thought it was pretty good. I originally gave it a 3.75 out of 5 stars because […]
Very blah. I give it 2 out of 5 stars.
Pretty good movie. Great cinematography. Very naturalistic performances. The third act felt a little abrupt to me though. It was more of a character study than a story. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
I thought it was a pretty good coming-of-age drama and had some good parts. I’m not sure, for me, that it was as great as the critics thought. It was well acted and directed for sure, but there was nothing transcendent about the story. It was good and I liked it, but not particularly ground-breaking […]
I liked it. It was a pretty good sci-fi-cyber-thriller. I especially liked the casting including several of the supporting characters. I give it a 3 out of 5.
